When you receive an unwanted email in your Outlook inbox, hitting the delete key will eliminate it, but the sender may continue to deliver more email to you in the future. You could click Unsubscribe at the bottom of the message, but take caution: that single click may take you to a phishing site, or worse. Here’s a two-second method I use to combat unwanted email from my inbox.
Right-click on the message, navigate to Rules, then select “Always Move Messages From”
From there, select Deleted Items, then click OK.
Now all emails from this unwanted sender will automatically skip your inbox and head straight to the trash.
